Atkins as Art Contest & Exhibit
Guidelines given for the contest
Students were asked to submit their representation of the Atkins Library building, in any medium, that reflected its role in their academic experiences and/or the communities.
Instructions
"Show us how the library sparks your creativity as a UNC Charlotte student! The deadline to enter is October 31. Submitted artwork will be judged by a panel of UNC Charlotte faculty members. Judging will be completed by Thanksgiving."

Grand Prize $200 gift card* - only two dimensional (2D, flat) submissions are eligible.

Best of Show $100 gift card* - submissions in any medium (2D or 3D) are eligible.
The juried exhibit Atkins as Art was then displayed in Atkins on the main floor. An award ceremony was held the first week in December 2017 and was followed by a dedication reception in Spring 2018.
